The Tracking System for Delivered or Deployed Units

Please visit this Tracking Sheet for the tracking system of our delivered or deployed sensor and data logger units.

This tracking sheet is used for both internal projects and units we supply to collaborators and external partners. This tracking sheet mainly contains information about what sensors are provided for internal or external projects, who the responsible person is, the client's contact details, where the unit log information to, the file name on the server, the sim card number, and the hardware versions we used.

This tracking sheet does not contain information about the detailed sensor calibration relationship and the firmware each specific sensor uses. If you want to access this information for the specific sensor you received, please check the Production Logbook of each sensor below.

How to use this Tracking Sheet:

  • Column A - Date: the date when the listed unit is deployed or delivered
  • Column B - BoSL Responsible Person: input who is responsible for the assembly or preparation of the unit (Jenny, Felix, Grace, Stephen)
  • Column C - Receiver (internal) or Client (external): the individual who received the unit; internal: Luke, Miao, Corrie, Canwei, Mehran, etc; external: input the name of external partners and their organisations
  • Column D - Contact details of receiver: email or phone numbers
  • Column E - Server Destination: input the IoT database page where the unit is logging to (the file location, not the file name); if we only deliver sensors without BoSL board, skip this column
  • Column F - File Name: This is for recording the file name on the data server that stores the data from this unit
  • Column G & H - SIM provider and number: the SIM card inserted in this unit; Talk to Grace Zhang if you need a SIM card
  • Column I - Logger: list the data logger you are using for this sensor unit (BoSL 0.4, 0.5, Nano, Camera or BoSL 0.4 RESET)
  • Column J to M: list the exact sensor ID you are using; you can find the sensor ID on your device; the information about sensor calibration and firmware can be found at Production Logbook of each sensor below.
  • Column N - Logger program: list the program you are using for this data logger; Please check existing programs available for use at here; if you are making a new software, please upload your software to the same page.
